Re: HJT Log: Cleanup Required?

It seems all visible programs of the infection are gone. But I am having this strange occurence of search results being altered. The first 5 or so results are switched over to advertisement links, I'll post a screenie tomorrow. Other than that I also cant load any Youtube video, with my recent upgrade to IE 7, but I doubt that has anything to do with an infection.

Make sure to delete these two files (if they exist)
C:\WINDOWS\System32\oxtv.exe

C:\WINDOWS\System32\sterpcs.exe

(those were leftovers from a prior infection and a thread that never got finished. Thought you were going to reformat/reinstall was the last word on that one)
»A Very Strange problem

It was very badly infected and compromised.

If you could run a Combofix scan on this machine and post the log please. But if this were my machine I would wipe it and re-install because I'm not confident you can trust it
