We recently transfered over tags from one vehicle to another via the online system and everything was instaneous. But that's with an existing account.
If you have a HCTRA account, you can switch between license plates/cars using the online feature then switch back after you are finished, but you have to have a removable tag to do that. The new tags are permanently affixed to your windshield.
Have you considered going to one of the substations around town? You get your subscription processed there at the desk and get a tag right then and there. |
