There maybe a chance that your old modem is simply failing. They don't last forever, especially the hot running 5260 modems. The problem I am having is that today the modem seems to be dropping the internet connection every 30 minutes or so.

Could you possibly check out the line and the modem from your end and make sure the setup is good. I'm paying the Hi-Speed internet rate.
