porterm : believe it or not, ipods have really got my attention now,and im 52 years old. my company gave all the employees
an ipod touch for christmas and after messing around with it a bit,i just had to order a 160 gig classic.
i like the touch just fine but the 16 gigs didnt have enough room for just my music so i ordered the big boy.
i find it truly amazing that i can carry in the palm of my hand what would take many, many boxes of cd's or tapes.
and while the screens are very small, taking a few movies
or tv show is kinda cool for those long car rides.
i bought a fm transmitter so i can play it thru my factory stereo but im not totally satisfied with it as the is some interference on it.someone makes an adapter that plugs in the back of the factory stereo that eliminates this problem and i may just order it. i kinda worry about it being a distraction as i drive though, not from the videos, wouldnt even think about wathing them as i drive. just trying ti find songs on it while driving me makes me think you need to use utmost caution. oh yea, with the classic,i can also store files on it like a external hard drive so i could if i chose to,store work on it to transfer to a computer somewhere else.
