Your moronic thinking has gotten the US to the point where a majority of your goods are now made in (Insert low cost country here). You know...in order to maximize profits.

If you're paid $10/hr, you're only worth $10/hr. Why do high school drop outs and failures expect to be overpaid to perform mindless jobs?

Imagine that. A company wanting to make money. I support outsourcing to the fullest to put these clowns (unions) in their place.

You clearly don't own Verizon stock- not much money to be made there, in fact, if you bought Verizon stock when the company was formed (Bell Atlantic + GTE) you'd have lost ~30% of your investment... rants about excessive profits have no place here.

I would imagine that you'd be one of those people complaining that the level of customer service you've had with your cable/tel company has been decreasing in recent years. Why do you think that's happening? You pay $10.00/hr and you get $10.00/hr employees.. pay a decent wage and you get decent employees.

No you don't. If you pay a "decent" wage at a union shop, you get some good folks but also a bunch of $10/hr employees making more than they're worth that you can't ever get rid of.

edit - true enough... happens everywhere, not just union shops

only if they pass the probationary period.. until then they can be terminated for any reason.
Plus you have slackers everywhere, regardless of whether or not it's a union position.
