| Waiting for that Knock on the Door Verizon is in the preparatory phases now for installing FiOS in my area. They have been doing digging to get underground passages ready for running fiber and there have been site planners around surveying the job.
When it is eventually installed and I get that knock on the door from a FiOS salesperson promising me the moon, the stars and anything else, I am going to tell them everything I know about FiOS billing issues, taxes and fees, undelivered promotional items (TV's) and phantom hardware charges. I will then decline to talk any further. Cablevision has its issues but at least they have gotten my bills correct for the past seven years with one minor exception that was in my favor and had to be corrected.
