A better way to handle disputes?

I always find it interesting when employees try to hurt the company they work for, in that, if they are effective and business were to decline, or not expand at the same rate, they might not be able to keep their job anyway.

It seems it would be better if these issues were kept separate. There are 3 sides to every story, the union's side, the company's side, and the actual truth.
