| Slow 914 area download speed AGAIN !!! Anyone else

This is the 5th week in a row now where some crappy piece of equipment located in White Plains, NY, is causing a slow download/normal upload speed problem for a whole day or even two days.
You call the help line and you're told that's there is no problem with Verizon's equipment, rather the problem must be yours because of spyware or filter hardware problems, reboot your machine, yada yada blah blah blah. This is Verizon's so called "Customer Service".
No respect for their customers seems a fact from what I've read of the comments posted here following the occurrences of this issue the last few weeks. A Great way to not give credit for services not given is one conclusion. Attempt to force people to switch to FIOS is another conclusion. |
