This forum is great. Just fund it. I'm Speedfactory customer in Atlanta area. Regarding using dial-up as backup: My sis has a Speedfactory dial-up account. She's out of town so I've been using it some. Problem is, I am yet to be able to connect to any dial-up numbers in the local area. The only ones I'm able to connect to are the ones way out in the country, ie, the outlying areas such as Cedartown and Adairsville. I guess it could be some problem on my end but after this no info blackout at Speedfactory, I'm beginning to wonder if their dial-up providers have shut them off. Anybody been connecting to Speedfactory via dial-up successfully? The DSL back-up number (678-781-7299) gives the "all circuits busy" message. I'm talking about connecting to their standard dial-up service. I am doing that (at 26.4 bps) but like I said, can't connect to 98% of the Atlanta area numbers,,, just the outlying dial-up numbers. I figure way out there maybe they're a little slow to make system changes.
This forum is great... just found it as I was looking for info on SF. Thanks for posting what you know. I do not trust the person claiming to be SF employee. Sound to me like that person is just toying with us so they can feel a false sense of superiority. |

| I live in Carroll Co and don't have any problems connecting to a dial up# but can not rec or send email thru outlook express as I normally do. Cant get anyone to answer the phone at speedfactory either. Really don't know what is going on. Stumbled on to this site trying to find an ISP |
