PNJ - Computer is infected but VundoFix finds nothing...

Ok, I hope I'm doing this corrrectly..

Girlfriends laptop (Dell/Vista) has a virus/spyware thing that constantly opens new browsers, none stop. I have run Spybot as well as AdAware. both current versions. spybot finds VirtuMonde. when I delete it, it just shows back up again.

I ran the VundoFix program in safemode and it found no files so I can't print out a report.

Thoughts/suggestions?

Thank you.

This is the start point. »Security Cleanup FAQ »Mandatory Steps Before Requesting Assistance
After you get that done then the helpers here can tell you what to do next, but they have to have this done first.
