LAN & WLAN Authentication failures in 802.1x

Hi,
I am Authenticating both LAN & WLAN interfaces with 802.1x (and validating with pings)
using Cisco 3750 switch,
After I'm forcing the LAN driver to fail doing the authentication (using invalid username)
I see that there is no connectivity on the wired and the wireless interfaces instead of disconnection only on the LAN (wired) interface.
is it an expected behavior?

Which EAP method are you using? Actually, a better question is: which supplicant is being used? Why are you trying to connect both interfaces at once? Is it just to investigate a probably scenario?

I am testing several scenarios on LAN & WLAN drivers with 802.1X
and wanted to know if 802.1x authentication failure should only effect the particular port or connection, or that it will effect LAN&WLAN connections

Maybe your system is using a default gateway via the LAN interface, and maybe that goes nowhere. You need to check what is being used as gateway.

Can you post the output from "ipconfig /all" (this assumes Windows is your operating system).
