Can someone else confirm - the web-site is down and making calls to your GC number seem to go to dead air? -- Russell |

| reply to Russell_ I have been using grand central for about a year now and I don't remember anytime that it was down. But I am not a heavy user so it doesn't effect me much. I just don't want to lose it out of beta. -- Learning how to invest. Sign up to get 3 free trades for you and me each. Personal Message me. Thanks |

Timing is everything - and in this case mine sucks.... |

@mnet-online.de | Get a number at brring.com and forward it to your number at ipkall.com and have that forward it to your ata. At least that gets you free incoming, not to mention $ if you get enough incoming calls. |

As others have noted, there is one complaint - Beta or not, they should at the very least post something somewhere indicating WTF is going on. When you've signed up thousands of people, and have been pushing the service, you have at least some responsibility to those "beta testers" to let them know the problem status, the expected resolution, and the timing. "Beta" doesn't get a free pass for extended outages - just ask people who've been using MagicJack....same issue - functions or services are down and there's no communication. |

Get a number at brring.com and forward it to your number at ipkall.com and have that forward it to your ata. If a lot of Brring users requesting it to support SIP URI as well as PayPal payment for redemption, I am sure Brring will comply. This will make IVR works better and the calls will have less latencies. |

| reply to Russell_ I wonder if it's possible to port numbers out of GC... I'd imagine that's a yes, but who knows. I just hope that once they start charging/advertising or shut down users will have enough time to port their numbers elsewhere...
(Who knows what Google will do with it, but one thing they're probably NOT going to do with it is let it sit and collect dust and bills for too long.) -- Nitzan Kon, CEO Future Nine Corporation |

They've claimed that basic forwarding services would remain free once they started charging. Making calls, etc. would be charged. Of course, who knows what they will actually do. |
