[HSI] Intermittent HSI Service

anon : Last night I noticed that my HSI service was very intermittent. I had to reboot my cable modem to restore service, and it would work for ~1/2 hour, then I would lose connectivity. Rebooting the modem would then again re-establish connectivity, for a while. Modem looked fine, all lights on and connectivity light blinking before reboot. I got lots of exercise running up/down the stairs - must have happened 5-6 times before I gave up and went to bed.

Anybody else notice this last night or recently? This obviously kills my VoIP service, as well. I am in E. Amwell area.

I don't know if Patriot is doing any maintenance or "upgrades" in preparation for swinging onto the Comcast network, but I sure don't appreciate the intermittent service.

Also appalling is the communication from Comcast about the transition....

JF
