Program must only connect throug vpn

Is it possible to make sure that a particular application only can connect to the a network through a VPN connection. So when there is no vpn connection, there will be no network connection.

Is this possible??

Well, if the resource that the program is connecting to is only available via VPN then this would be the case.

I have some corporate applications that are only accessible when I'm connected via VPN, they are not publicly available (hostnames don't resolve publicly).

What specifically are you trying to do?

Yes, destination address tunneling. However I have a good feeling that there's more to it than what you've told us so far..
