| I do hope, for those who use this scan, that there is an awareness of how they, Panda, Spam. Even when requested, over and over in many ways, they continue to Spam as has been noted on this site and many others. Never, never use your real email address on the Panda site for a free scan or anything if you don't need to. |

I guess the guy above didnt read that part. It clearly asked if you accept the newsletters and he probably left them checked.

Once having made the error, many years ago, many found out that no matter what is done, one cannot change their minds and get off the mailing list. Just check out the Spamming complaints that have been rampant on the Net for way too long. The idea to make something opt in rather than just pushing it at the average user leaves all too many vulnerable and the fact that once done, it's impossible to change is just wrong!
Btw., I have not had a problem for some time now as my filtering takes care of the problem quite nicely.
