I seriously do hope you get it fixed though, I'd be annoyed as hell to have a shitload of police at my door on an ongoing daily basis..

I have rogers digital home phone in our officer here at the house and the Fax has never once failed us in 3 years. I'm guessing it could possibly rely on the type/quality of fax machine used. We've got an aficio ricoh mp 2000..
