 Recommend speed monitoriting software

I am with Uniserve and now my line is clearly being capped every day (see: Bell). Uniserve says they don't officially know anything about that and need weeks to conduct tests. I need some monitoring software to record my daily internet traffic (especially up/dl speeds per application, if possible) to provide Uniserve with tangible evidence.

Could someone please recommend freeware utilities that would be suitable for this specific task?

Thanx

You can also use this link to determine if/when your line is being throttled »loki04.mpi-sws.mpg.de/bb/bt.php

Nanook, my line IS being throttled, i would like to provide a full dayly report of this to my ISP (a graph showing dropping speeds at certain hours).

TheFlash, netmeter looks like it simply monitors the network adapter, not usage per application. But it's a start.

I use the free version of netlimiter on my media server. Logs in/out usuage and shows current usage of each application. the pay verion lets you throttle an individual application outbound and/or incoming speed.

I need a tool that logs speeds at all hours for various apps, not just bandwidth or just showing current speeds and then not logging it.

Netmeter and similar don't do that. I have yet to test netlimiter pro but from the description it seems it does not log speeds-at-all-hours either, only bandwidth usage.

So my ISP can continue pretending they're not aware of anything and need to conduct their own very complicated bullshit tests...
