Class Action

Has anyone else thought about the possibility of a class action lawsuit? A friend of mine is a class action attorney and in a brief conversation with him that speedfactory customers may have grounds for a possible class action lawsuit due to the negligence of the company in handling the situation and their blatant disregard for potential lost revenues of their customers and their businesses. Does anyone else (especially any attorneys who are speedfactory ex-customers (now) have any thoughts on the issue?

I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Thanks.

Perhaps the business customers could placed in a "class" for purposes of suit.

But, as a regular joe-shmuck user like me, I don't have any damages or lost wages or the like. I was just unable to play online games and read blogs for 4 days.

Here's hoping that I can actually talk to someone at the company tommorow and formally cancel my service. (I've jumped to a new provider and disputed the charge with the CC).

You can not get money from en empty wallet no matter how hard you squeeze it. And if you could your lawyer friend would probably end up with most.

Yeah, for the average user, there are no real damages. The worst you can say is that you were out whatever cash for a (partial) month. The only winners in class action suits are lawyers.
