| Blackberry---BIS Problem
Work email is available via IMAP client. I have BIS set up to access it via IMAP and send it to my BB. In theory, it polls every 15 minutes, so I should see messages on my BB within 15 minutes after they show up in Thunderbird. In practice, though, I'm not getting them on my BB for an hour or more after they are available from the IMAP server via BIS. Anyone del with anything similar? |

| My theory is that Rim makes it suck intentionally so that you upgrade to BES.
Yes, I experience the same thing. Sometimes it does poll every 15 minutes and others times it can take up to an hour.

The time frequency of polling is an issue, at least I concur on that...although it does poll frequently, so I've not really had any major problems. I've only had to Reconcile Email a few times since I got the Blackberry Curve 8310 in Jan 08.

Norfolk, VA | When you reconcile does that supposedly make it poll at that instant? I think that I can reconcile and still not see messages that I know are there show up. I will have to experiment more. |

clubs: | Reconcile only works with BES. It does nothing with BIS.
