[Deep] Have you ever

looked for your glasses while wearing them? And gotten very annoyed because you couldn't find them?

If I wore glasses, that would be something I would do. Probably very often.

That's the third time this week you've done that, isn't it?

I've done that. I also have the bad habit of setting them down in some unusual place and then can't find when I look for them as I can't see worth beans without them

I've never done that before. But last night when I went to bed I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get my head comfortable when I realized I had forgotten to take my glasses off.

What I don't like is when I lose them. I set them on the bed at night to sleep and when I reach for them when I awaken, they aren't "there". Sometimes they fall on the floor, but since I can't see to find them, aw shucks!

Re: [Deep] Have you ever

Or you are holding your pen in your left hand with another object and are searching frantically on your desk ...

Or my wife used to the old Caravan with built-in garage door opener missing the one on the visor now, and wondering why the button to the light above the rear view mirror can't open the garage ...

And yes, been there done that with safety glasses

Lucky you.. I don't need them for reading, but I do need them for anything else.. I can get around the house etc. without glasses but anything farther than about 6 feet starts to blur. It's a pain because I tend to leave my glasses on the desk at work while doing computer work and reading the paperwork that goes with it.. When putting away the car parts, I have to leave my glasses off so I can read the small part numbers and also where they are on the shelves to put them in the proper spot..

I take my glasses off to read, too. And I rarely wear them around the house since it's only things at a fair distance that I need them for. On Thursday night I took them off at a restaurant ... and since I wasn't driving, didn't notice that I left them there until Friday morning. Good thing the restaurant is only about 4 blocks from work ...
