Problem staying connected to my works Citrix Connection

anon : Good afternoon,

For awhile now I've had issues with staying connected when using a secure Citrix connection to my works servers. I used to do this all the time and it wasnt an issue, but recently (past couple months) its been getting progressively worse.

What happens is Ill connect and usually anywhere between 30 seconds to 5 mins later it'll just pause and then disconnect. This happens every time, and I can go to my neighbours house who is on Sympatico and it works flawlessly so I know its not my work.

I've had Cogeco out to see if there was a problem and the guy fixed some stuff and said my signal was much better now. But the problem is still there! My internet surfing and downloads are blazing fast - but as soon as I connect to my works Citrix site I get booted.

Is this something they started doing to residential customers since they'd want me to move to commercial maybe? Im trying to work from home 1 day a week to help out with the kids when I can, but that wont fly if I cant actually do some work ;-)

Anyone have any ideas what to check/do ?
Thanks!
