Old Account Deleted

I just wanted to note that my original account was deleted and perhaps due to inactivity but my old account had tool points and premium stuff and I find it a bit unfair that someone can pay for special upgrades and come back and have their account gone.

When you say "deleted", you mean it's no longer accessible, or you cannot find it at all? Many accounts are inactivated due to lack of use, but I can't think of very many that are totally deleted. What was your "old" account username? I'm also curious as to why you've waited until now to request the "goodies" from your "old" account. Your present account has been in effect since October of last year.

Re: Old Account Deleted

My old account username was "bkerensa" and prior to that it was NovaCA although it was changed to bkerensa.

In response to your curiosity.... I am busy and married and had little time in the past to handle it and now that I have more free time I want my "goodies" restored.

I used BBR/DSLR for almost seven years and I even was the founder and maintainer of BBR IRC and I find it odd that a old timer's account would just vanish.

This may be your oldest account. It appears that it was closed voluntarily long ago: bkerensa$ See Profile

This was your thread last December, where I asked you if you could find your old account and you didn't reply: »Account Issues

Another account made a post which contains "bkerensa" in an e-mail address. "bkerensa@xxxxxxxx.xx.xx.xx" This was the account: »/profile/658042
Perhaps that is the old one you're looking for? It is still active. Here is another post from that account mentioning IRC: »BBR OFFICIAL IRC

I'm finding all these things using site search, by the way. I find it odd too that an account would "just vanish". Perhaps it did not.

Is it possible to change the username on this account to
"bkerensa" as of current BBR is not letting me do this on my own and this is my oldest account which I wish to reclaim and use.

It wouldn't let you reclaim it since the account you just closed still had that name (and it wouldn't become available for a year). I think I've found a way around that, though. Try changing the name of this account (the one in the post above this) now. If it doesn't work, try again throughout the day or tomorrow at latest. I think it will work.
