(Right hand). He came up from behind me at a much greater speed, blew past me ON THE RIGHT (IE the Shoulder and then cut in hard and stood on his brakes....) I have no idea wtf his problem was but he scared the hell out of me as I braked and skidded left trying to miss him... (I didn't hit him then) but as I tried to exit the highway he KEPT on doing it I realized it was on purpose and I got mad. He was cutting in and then braking hard to a complete stop, like blocking me in Cop style.... I was damn lucky there wasn't a someone talking on their phone behind me or something because I'd of been plowed. I could see him screaming at me and waving his fists and I had no idea what his deal was. Psycho....

I took off and he took off and then cut me off again braking and blocking.... but this time I was pissed so I only partially braked and allowed the car to hit his right in the back corner. (not very hard...) At this point he jumps out of his car and attacks my driver side door, he's just kicking at the door and screaming obscenities at me. I lay on the horn and reverse and he throws something at my car (his pocketknife? Cellphone? I dunno but it hit the glass and went up and I never got a look at it.) I cut around his car and now I'm out in front of his car and I stop. He runs up and keeps kicking the side of my car, At this point I am now very angry, I put it in reverse and gas it hard and reversed right into the front of his Audi at an angle, which smashed the hell out of it. I then just took off, down the exit and side streets and went home and called into work.

I kept expecting the police to show up. They never did. I have no idea how much damage he had, but it was a fair bit.

I was scared, then mad, then scared again. These days I just laugh about it and think about how much worse it could of been, especially if it caused a big freeway wreck or if the psycho had had a gun or something.

If that happens again I probably wouldn't react the same. (I have a new car now) :D As you said, I literally had nothing to lose. I was driving a car I paid $400 that was wrecked in the front and passenger side when I bought it, and was a real beater but went back and forth ok. (Wasted a lot of gas) and he had a nice car. He lost.

I thought about it for several days. I couldn't figure out why he flipped out in me. There had been *nothing* at all that happened in the 15 minute drive up to that point... no traffic, no oops, almost cut you off, just a smooth drive.

There's only 2 things I can think of. Either 1) The bumper stickers pissed him off (Nothing insulting, but they were pro-Democrat, and this IS Oklahoma) --OR-- since I had only had the car a short time maybe he recognized it and thought I was someone else at first.

I'll never know.
