| I've been holding off posting about the 2.1.0.130 update due to some minor issues posted at Online Armor forums in the "Help with Online Armor Free", and "Help with Online Armor, Online Armor AV+" forums.
Wanted to see if just localized incidents or in the 2.1.0.130 release itself. Especially for OA Free users being that you can install over the top, but if problems arise you'll probably have to unistall old version then install new version. Being that OA Free does not have the Backup/Restore (as the paid version) feature, requires re-training OA Free from scratch.
The 2.1.0.130 mainly fixes issues found in the 2.1.0.127 version released 04/07/08. ---------------------------------- 2.1.0.130 Change log Online Armor: 2.1.0.130 Online Armor AV+: 2.1.0.130 Online Armor FREE: 2.1.0.130
Release 2.1.0.130 - 14th April 2008
Fixed: Green border consistency now shows status, not setting Fixed: Starting default browser from OA goes to homepage, not target Fixed: AV in country list Fixed: Additional "storage integrity control" for settings Fixed: BSOD in oamon driver ------------------------------------
FYI: OA Products Comparisons
Edit: Fixed typo |

| reply to Pentangle I too am sitting it out pending Tall Emu ironing out the reported small but annoying bugs -- all said, it's a great free software FW particularly when sitting behind a router.
EDIT: BTW P, thanks for posting the alert to users re the update

Hi D , you must have the Pro version as Free updates have to be done manually -- Tact is the art of making a point without making an enemy - Anonymous |

Fedorov Premium join:2002-09-11 | reply to Pentangle I think for the majority of OA users, this build is running excellent. Mike Nash and his team of developers are constantly fixing any issues users find - this is THE firewall to watch and use, the support is second-to-none. |

| reply to Fedorov Due to the .130 corruption issue, I'm glad I held off installing .130 update.
Except for AV def updates, have all my applications set to manual update. Whenever updates released always wait several days monitoring forum(s) for any possible problems/issues from updates. |

| A good policy.
This, build 130, ends-up being a major breach in code integrity that renders, if I completely understand, all configuration saves pre (and including) 130 useless.
So, forward Mike and fellow emu'ites go from this point, with renewed resolve that it'll never happen again. I like these guys .. and, I like the way they've proceeded from this point. OA is, I think, an amazing bit of programming.
Purchasing it, which is often difficult to see, also brings tremendous user/product support for/to the purchaser. -- "Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything" --Wyatt Earp |
