It costs 84 dollars a month plus tax for a 1.5/500 service, however and was far from cheap- but no caps and low ~80ms ping rates make it a great service. |

I know people who do crazy stuff with Bell EVDO as well. In fact, everyone who I know with a data plan on Telus has an unlimited data plan. Times are changing in this country, that's for sure.
I also know someone with an HSDPA PCMCIA card on Rogers. He has a 250MB data plan. He claims that he has never been billed for downloading more than 250MB, but he has been charged for uploading more than 250MB. Considering the amount of stuff I alone have downloaded over his HSDPA connection, I figure I would have heard something if he had received a bill the size of a phone book. -- I swear that I will faithfully and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, Queen of Canada, Her Heirs and Successors, and that I will faithfully observe the laws of Canada and fulfil my duties as a Canadian citizen. |
