| Is Speed Factory down AGAIN? I used to be a happy Speed Factory customer but this latest thing was just too much. So, I placed order with Atlantic Nexus Monday afternoon and was provisioned and online by 6pm Tuesday. (I didn't have to do anything to my old Cayman router. Just changed the password in my Linksys wireless router and I was online in a snap)
Just talked to customer support at 1am to fix a small e-mail matter. There was a fella there ready to help me. Everything good so far.
So I go to check my old Speed Factory mail by going to »www.webmail.speedfactory.net but nothing comes up. Is it dead AGAIN?

@atlanta-airport.com | My daughter told me that Speedfactory went down around 11:00am EST and was not working. I told her to reset everything to see if it was a network issue and she did. It never came back up. When I got home at 2:00pm I checked it and it was down. I tried several things to see if it would come back up, but it would not. I didnt try to call them because I have already ordered another service so I changed my router settings and I was back online with the new ISP.
SF is going down and especailly with all their customer base leaving they will eventually have to close the doors. I guess we will see. Anyway that was my experiance. |

I just got a report from my customer that their SF dsl line is down again and they are trying to switch to cable modem temporarily |

Re: Is Speed Factory down AGAIN? I was temporarily (for an hour or so) unable to get to my webmail this morning while I was trying to make sure I had all my accounts matched up to my new address. At the same time, I was able to get to the apology page at speedfactory.net but not the main page at speedfactory.com. |

My client called Speed Factory and they said that "it isdown in some areas but will be up by the end of the day"
Yeah, just another great present from ST to business customers.
Therefore, the statement from SF that they are not down is not 100% correct but that's no news, we alredy received enough dubious info from them on this forum, did we not? |

What happened to the Press Release from NP Wireless regarding closing the SF operations??
It was available through cahched google search Speedfactory closed, duing the entire outage Friday-Monday but once SF web was back operational the Press Release dissapeared.
How could it be available cached and then disapear?
Is everyone down again??

| That post about the "closing" was incorrect. Someone found a bit of info they thought was pertinent, and then mis-read the wording of the text. It was a 2yr old press release about the "closing" of deal when NP Wireless aquired SpeedFactory--it was NOT about the closing of the business itself. The more important text seems to be the recent SEC filings from 4th Q/2007 and 1st Q/2008 that indicate a fiscal problem. |
