Good penetration, but

I lived in San Francisco for the summer of 2006. While the penetration rate might be high and it may have full coverage, the actual service isn't so hot. Comcast's systems were totally outdated and way oversubscribed so you'd never get advertised speeds, and AT&T DSL wasn't so great either. The only option was to go with a CLEC DSL provider like Speakeasy and you got pretty ripped off price wise.

While I loved San Francisco and want to move back for good in the future, it'll be tough to leave my 15/2 (20/5 when they get around to updating Delaware) fiber service for $50 a month here on the east coast...

Wonder what The Swallows (1951) or Maria Maldaur (1974) would have said?

Let's see... about 3-4 times a week now. About 365 days a year for the first 7 years starting 1994.

Anyone voluntarily choosing AT&T or Comcast deserves what they get.

Saturday and Sunday were nice. The rest of this winter/spring? Not so much.
