said by eco  :I lived in San Francisco for the summer of 2006. While the penetration rate might be high and it may have full coverage, the actual service isn't so hot. Comcast's systems were totally outdated and way oversubscribed so you'd never get advertised speeds, and AT&T DSL wasn't so great either. The only option was to go with a CLEC DSL provider like Speakeasy and you got pretty ripped off price wise. It's 2008, wake up and smell the global warming,
