| ATT modems being "bricked" over the last week
I live in Little Rock, and after just 3 days of service our modem went "lights out." No power-no lights. Took it back, and got a new one. Well I get a call from my mom later and her dsl modem went bad as well. I just got back from class, and two folks in the class had their modems go out over the course of the last 2 days. One of them took theirs to Radio Shack to replace it, and the store clerk said that they have been getting tons of returns over the last week. These have all been different modems, not just the newer motorola that I was issued. Anyone know anything about this? |

Iterestingly enough the same thing happened to me just last night. I had to call att and get the advance line testing center to run test and they got my modem working. I live down in dallas texas btw |

Little Rock, AR | I just find this kind of sketchy. Now we had those tornadoes 2 weeks ago. Could line work have something to do with this? I just talked to another person that had theirs go out last week for the 2nd time now! |
