Well that changes everything

I will vote with my wallet on this one. I guess its time to give D-link, and other router and modem manufactures a look. And I really liked Linksys and was planning on getting a new Cisco router when I read they were killing the Linksys name. I would just feel wrong supporting a business that looks at stifling the internet as an innovation instead of encouraging a faster better deployed internet. I wonder if this PR blunder will keep the Linksys name around a bit longer, and if it does I will still be buying from someone other than Cisco.

I agree with you to. Since I manage a cisco VOIP solution and make all the purchasing decisions it looks like im gonna have to start saving money and buying HP/DELL/3COM/Juniper POE GIG switches and routers for the same price as Cisco 10/100 to include into our network now. I guess Cisco will still get a minute amount from our buisness for their phones and licenses but thats about it from now on. Thanks Cisco you just helped me save a ton of money by switching(GEICO).
