| All the HD chanels have a home in the 9000 range (with an exception of a few), and then are also maped (pointed) to the same channel number as the SD version (if there is one).

I see SciFi, but it seems to have different programming than the regular SD channel. I tried to set up a recording for BS and it told me all of the ones coming up were old... |

it's like that on comcast too and so are the discovery channels. I think some of the newer channels are listening to viewer complaints and showing ALL HD content instead of mixed HD and SD content like they used to show. |
