Updated my setup a bit.

Got a new laptop, no space for it though

It's a Toshiba a205
1.73ghZ dual core
2 gigs ram
160 gig HD
15.4 inch widescreen

Good specs considering I got it for 600 bucks..

The desktop is a good ol' reliable Dell Dimension 5100
3.0 ghZ HT P4
512 ram
160 gig HD

Also a new multifunction
Canon MX310

Setup is a bit messy, but once I get around to getting a new desk the clutter should be lessened..

Nice setup!

I've been looking into getting another laptop since my previous one was a piece of junk and ended up with a busted screen. I've liked the Toshiba's I've used previously, has this one performed well for you?

I've had the laptop for less than a week and it has performed splendidly, especially for the price that I got it for.

Played around with the desk configuration. End result, I have way too much crap on my desk.

My wife recently bought me a Toshiba Satellite A205-S5864 which is very similar:

Toshiba A205-S5864
15.4"W
Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 1.83GHz
3GB DDR2
250GB HDD
Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG
Integrated Webcam
Vista Home Premium SP1 32bit

Its out of stock now, but it was going for $699. This thing is a fast powerful system with good battery life. When the lights are out the blue glowing “Satellite” logo can be a bit distracting though,….if you’re watching a movie on it or something

Well I have finally removed a piece of my desk in order to create more room. Looks like my plan has finally worked...

A couple of new items.
Maxtor One Touch 4 External Hard Drive 750GB
Canon SD790 IS 10.0 Mega Pixel digital camera

Do you happen to remember where you got the desk at? Looking at it, it might make a suitable replacement for mine.

Amazing.. A Toshiba laptop that actually has the ~ key in the right place.. Toshiba used to always put it someplace down on the lower left, instead of next to the 1 where it belongs. Very annoying for us unix geeks who actually use that key a lot.

Honestly I don't, it's a pretty old desk. Most likely office depot but I don't think they carry this model anymore..
