The process takes several weeks as it goes CO by CO and goes from analog broadcasts, to analog red screens with the warning message, to finally shutting off the analog channels. |

| We have all found out how long it really could take for each market to remove their analogs.  (Of course OR/Pittsburgh are the exception)
Interesting question came up today, I received my third and last DCT700 (finally, I thought that Iw ouldn't get the last one as Washington, DC Metro had shut off their analog for a while), and I received a Philips remote this time. The last two came with Motorola remotes, so did they stop that practice? (I like the Philips more, but for a Digital Adapter, it doesn't make a huge difference.) |

Today the weather channel scroll says 100% digital but my television says there are still analogs. Will check again tomorrow. and the next day and the next day......... |

DT2 shows various programs but nothing special imo. Verizon has not added those channels yet or if they even will. Tivo had KEYT(ABC Santa Barbara) on channel 26 but Verizon has never added it to my knowledge. Tivo no longer shows that channel. So who knows if those channels will show up. |

| I got tired of even trying to see if RSOD was there. So I guess I can assume that it is for our area. Oh BTW, those 2 channels 867,868 are turned on. I noticed them 2 days ago in the guide, but they weren't on until yesterday. I don't see KEYT Santa Barbara. |

| We also got the new guide in the mail today. It seems to be the same as the online guide and the date still says 10/09. |
