No it's, not secured. After entering your credentials and submitting you land on another http page. I turned on the Firefox warning for unencrypted information submission and it throws up a warning after hitting submit.

You can type anything in the two fields and submit to see what I mean.

which is a good thing in their favor.
The first page you land at after logging in, is that a secured page? If it is secured I'd think the site is as safe or unsafe as any other secured page on any server.
Ask them to encrypt the login page. They might consider it.

Is there a problem with the way they have setup the login on this page? No padlock, no https.
Once you log in via the Auction Manager you have access to all other account functions.
