Cable modem loading partial pages?

Ok I'm getting a strange problem where, for awhile now when loading some pages "some" of the graphic elements of a page will not load. Even though it says its load its not showing till I go over each peice and do "show picture". Sometimes it'll do this to a whole page even.

Not to sure whats causing it, anyone know? I have a 8mbps cable modem using the settings provided by the "Tweak test" on here

oh and this is the tweak test results

Actual data bytes sent: 1024001
Actual data packets: 703
Max packet sent (MTU): 1500
Max packet recd (MTU): 1500
Retransmitted packets: 0
sacks you sent: 0
pushed data pkts: 99
data transmit time: 1.753 secs
our max idletime: 163.1 ms
transfer rate: 515833 bytes/sec
transfer rate: 4126 kbits/sec
transfer efficiency: 100%

not sure why getting 4126kbit when I'm supposed to be getting 8000ish (well close to like 6500 atleast)

That tweak test isn't a speed test, so don't trust the speed results.

Also rerun the tweak test and post the link to the results, because what you posted is just a small part of the results not the whole thing.

Main problem is like over time on the net.... it slows down and then things stop loading... then it goes again after awhile.

Best way to describe it is like a drain, when you pour alot through it... some of it goes, then it starts building up and slows... wait a bit let it clear then it goes again (things like pics/pieces of a site don't laod unless I click and do "show image" at times)

Well it depends on the download speed of your isp. Also what is your operating system? I use tcp optimiser on about evrything anymore cause it will work where others fail. Set your rwin to 256960. ttl to 128 and mtu to 1500. also move slider to the speed of your download speed. You may have to reset the rwin after moving the slider. It will fine tune all of the networking cards if you want to the same numbers. The other numbers I have used in the rwin is 192720.

I use windows XP, and those are pretty much the settings I'm using (set the MTU 1500 on my router too) and its set for 8000mbps as my service advertises.

My PC is pretty up to date/fast, no spyware I can find (using hijackthis checking with spybotsearch n destroy, adaware, super antispyware) amd E6850 3Ghz @ 3.8Ghz 2GB DDR2 800mhz ram at 916Mhz, system runs cool, error free.

Its jsut annoying that after like 1-2 hours of internet usage, any and all internet pages (not gaming) will start to.. run like its only loading half a page.

Like I can load the MSN page and maybe 1-2 pics will load, I'd have to go over each pic and do "load pic" and it would showup instantly, otherwise I just see red X's everywhere. After maybe 5-15min the problem goes away for another 1-2 hours and repeats ;/ Everyday any time of day
