Their forum shows a possible 30-day timeframe for the release of a Vista version.

I am patiently waiting to give it a try on my eternal perfect Vista FW quest.

No, I wouldn't! Paid versions are being reported as having lost backup settings. As reported there, mine too was declared corrupted.

I was at the forum this morning .. there exists discussion there about loosing rules/config settings. I'd read there prior to updating.

I didn't care because I'd just switched from free to purchased and was/am still playing allot with settings.

This build is probably best installed manually, due to potential for corrupted settings

What a bloody PITFA this is reinstalling.

I can see this being a blocking point for newbies not using this firewall.

It took a bloody hour to reinstall and check my system files again.

Then it decides to allow all these programs to be trusted on its own...Internet Explorer, are you kidding me?

I like this firewall but they better improve a few things.

Hi zzzzzzz,

Sorry to hear you had problems installing 131. Did you restored your settings from 130? This could be the cause due to a corrupt backup file.
Best way is to do a fresh install and run the SCW. The whole installation shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes.
Please let me know how you go.
Best regards,

Gerard

The checksums of these programs are checked via a database and classified as trusted, unknown or bad.

I'm not trying to bash this firewall ,but I've had nothing but problems with this version and packets dropped, disconnections for hours and music burps.

Uninstalled this version and went back to 113 that worked and is working.
