This is last night... if Bell would have throttled people a little less agressively maybe they wouldn't have noticed as much... anyway this crap really smells.

Ugh, Its coming up to 11:30 and I'm still throttled, this is ridiculous.

How do I 'remind' bell to turn off the throttle on my line when I'm a TSI customer?

Look at Teksavvy's published bandwidth graphs. Weekends do have high-volume hours, but they tend to be noon to 2am: much more spread.

Based on those graphs, one might even be able to extrapolate how much congestion is really happening. The bandwidth usage prior to throttling kicking in on weekends is significantly higher than what you'd expect it to be on weekdays even several hours after 4 pm.

@BigBigKing: Weekends are the busiest times of the week. If you're going to run into capacity problems then you're most likely going to see it occur on a weekend.

@DSL_Ricer: Typically ugly shaped graphs, ugh. They should look similar to a regular sine wave, but hey, if you can chop the heads off those peaks think of the money you can save on pipes...

Hmm, I'm getting 100Kb/s right now. Actually haven't seemed to have been throttled the last few nights.

It's quite possible to circumvent the the throttling (and I'm not talking usenet or VPN). I don't want to give away the tricks here where Bell reads, so I suggesting getting on the IRC channel.
