They know a layoff of a large amount of folks especially after a monopolistic type merger were our govt. just gave a wink and a nod will cause some furor. Specially in an election year. This is just spinmeisters krap. No one a year from now is going to say ... hey AT&T you never hired anyone here in the U.S. after this? But by golly your overseas employment sure has grown by yet another 20%!
