anon : I signed up for my DSL on March 23 and I have finally gotten the service (April 23). I was extremely patient and kept waiting 7+ days after each step. My suggestion is to call the customer service number every day until you get it set up.

Whenever I called them, I spoke with friendly customer service reps and technicians. My mistake was waiting to call them because I waited 7 days for my modem before calling to check on the status. Then, I found that they had not sent it out yet.

When I received my modem, I waited 8 more days for the service to start because the letter said that I should wait 8 business days from April 5. When I called, they said the service was set up April 1. After some investigation, they got Bell to send out a technician.

A few days later, the Bell technician came and did something to my line and I had a DSL light, but no internet. A quick call to ACANAC to reset my account and I got the DSL internet service.

One more call was needed this morning to get my Email Control Panel working. I think I am all set now. I can't wait to go home and see if it all works.
