I've never been in the midst of one these cyber attacks and was wondering what we could do to help you win your fight a little easier, if it ever happens again. But hopefully it won't happen again!!

And it could very possibly happen again. I've noticed there were various mistakes made (edit: including my own)and a little wave of panic going through the forums. I'm not sure how it would be implemented. Maybe a "Something Important" in the FAQ. Maybe "After Member Registration". Maybe a sticky in every "Registered Member Forum". If united we stand, maybe we will all do a little better next time.

Edit again: One rule might be that if a user has more than one link going to dslreports to close it down and keep only "1" link open during an attack. Wouldn't that help a little?
