Graphing is neat on this |
We have had one for a year now. Since this is the first appliance it is hard to compare to anything else. Coming from Trend Mirco's Linux Mail gateway...
I like the Mailfoundry alot. The support is pretty good. There have been some questionable automatic software upgrades the required tech support. And the clock always seem to show the year 1969. But, we had the same problems with Trend Micro.... updates blowing up that is. They don't combat the ever growing reverse NDR attacks. There are some appliances that claim to.
As you can see, we get a lot of spam False positives are rare. And we only have it set to send the spam digest daily. Still debating on whether or not to up this interval. |

That 1969 time only gets updated when you manually click on a link in the reports section. Not sure why but thats how it is.
I moved my company from a Barracuda 300 to a Mailfoundry 1150 as part of their current throw back offer and we have been pretty satisfied. Management was ecstatic that we are only paying under $500 per year for the next three years as part of this offer.
After 30 days, I would give the Mailfoundry a solid A where as the Barracuda would get a B. |
