That's why many condo buildings have "rule books" that are inches-thick. It is legal as it has been decided by the residents themselves, through a board of directors, by election. So if you don't like it, you should come out and run for a director. You can then vote against it. So yes, it is "the residents" themselves that have signed the contract.
It's the same thing for "no satellite" allowed.
I hate condo specifically for that lack of "freedom". |

Never heard of that before, but now that I will keep that in mind cause if I got told that X company had an exclusive agreement with where I lived I would leave. |

Yeah, I was talking to the management, they said it's for TV, internet, and telephone service.
So frustrating.. I'd rather pay more money for the same service, to anyone besides Rogers. |

Yes, VPN still works. I use it for some anonymity and accessing slow encrypted sites (paypal, etc). BT? Probably throttled because anything encrypted appears to be targeted. Welcome back to Rogers  |

| Just switched back to Rogers after a year with Teksavvy (was forced to since I moved apartment and new condo has an exclusive contract w/ Rogers).
Does Rogers still do port throttling? I noticed my BT is very slow. And does VPN still work for it, or is there a new flavour of the month work-around? |
