I've watched 3 episodes of this, and it's sort of good, but I've never seen the manga.
My understanding from reviewers on other sites, is that the shows (as the manga) were not contiguous, and are at different points in the "business game" they are playing.
Drawn (styled) by the Saiyuki artist, it has a familiar feel and the characters are suggestive of the ones from that series.

I guess it was off a manga that only printed a pilot or so before the company that was distributing it went belly up.
