Email from Windows Live--OUTLOOK Express Service ending ??

Anyone else get this email from Windows Live -I have a MSN accound and a Hotmail account in my Outlook Express. Saying on June 30, 2008 , they will no longer work with OUtlook Express & we can download the new Windows Live mail ... First I want to make sure this is not a scam email -as they have links in it to download the Live Mail ? Anyone have this Live Mail, what is it like? Thank you

Re: Email from Windows Live--OUTLOOK Express Service ending ??

Didn't get the email but what it says is true. There is a new software upgrade to Outlook Express and it is Windows Live Mail. I have it, it's a FREE download and it works pretty much like Outlook Express. And it works with any free hotmail account and that's a GREAT thing. You don't have to get Hotmail Plus unless you need the email space. Outlook Live Mail give you 5gigs free email space. It's worked great for me. But, I do agree with you about clicking links in emails you are not sure off. Just go to the MSN portal site on the web and look for "Email Solutions" on the site and that link will tell you all about Windows Live Mail. Again, it's just an upgrade to Outlook Express and works with any FREE hotmail account.
