Most sites? I have a 50Mbps link at my house and I get 30-40Mbps on average on most downloads.
Microsoft, Oracle, Sun, Apple and pretty much anything hosted on an Akami cache guarantees me those speeds.

And while not traditional VPN, using Citrix for running apps remotely for class assignments chews up internet speed faster than you think.  |
