| answer for the "notification"; man i soo want to sue them
too bad i did not keep the intial email i send out; its been 6 days ago and took me 2 more "reminders" for them to answer to me. i raised a few points but they simplly IGNORED that,; they just answered eventually to the notification "injection". and they compleatlly ignored my complaints about it slowing down regular traffic like opening a webpage.PLEASE NOTE...if you go to usage limit and have never ACCEPTED what the norification tells you( beside the fact it seems is always 2 days BACKdate=not REAL time notification, could go a few gigas over limit and still provide unknownly EXTRA income for rogers). the usage limit tool on the tab of "notification" will tell you that "we experience problems with this feature". now would that be becouse i never accepted theyr way of forcing me in this "notification" contract?
Dear ....,
We apologize for the delay in responding to your email. We are currently receiving higher email volume than normal, and are attempting to answer all email as quickly as possible in the order they arrive.
We understand your concerns, and would be happy to assist you.
Please note that the on-screen notification is not a violation of net neutrality as it is not linked at all to any of the content the customer is accessing. It does not interfere with the customer's request and no action takes place on the Internet. The automated notification simply pushes the result of the request down on the customer's computer screen and provides the customer's own usage information. It is a heads-up to our customer while they are in the process of using the Internet.
We will proactively attempt to advise a Customer when they have reached 75% and 100% of their usage allowance for the month via an on-screen notification message, and an e-mail notification.
However, if you wish to disable the notification in the future or to learn more about usage, please visit:

We apologize for any inconvenience.

If you want to raise a fuss you gotta send it to the office of the president 855, York Mills Rd, Don Mills ON
The droids won't escalate stuff like this. |

It's more of a violation of the consumer's right to privacy, although the legality is questionable, the un-ethical use of this technology is evident and very troubling.
