That location is where they supposedly discovered flying "Rods". They fly so fast they are hard to see unless on film in slow motion.

 I just wanted to thank you for posting that video about "the rods." I'm not sure if they're for real or not, (the YouTube comments offer some plausible explanations) but I always like to think that there are things in this world that we've yet to discover and understand.
