Re: Bye bye Comcast

said by CableTool:

I say, every other post in the Comcast forum is asking WHEN they will get more HD, why there isnt more HD, who has more HD.
That's because this website does NOT represent the majority of any company's target audience. Period.

Point out one lie or misinformation?
Max speed is 10/1.5
This is a might slower then most all of its competition.
Misinformation. Very few companies have this speed tier across their entire footprint. Few select Comcast areas get the 16/2 tier, so the fastest Comcast offers across its entire network is, 8Mbps/768Kbps. So yes, AT&T is actually faster.

Limited to 1 HD stream.
Your kid wants to watch the game in HD in the basement on the flatscreen while your wife wants HGTVHD in the family room, out of luck.
Yes, for the limited amount of people that have that scenario. Very few do, and AT&T does it's best to warn people upfront about it. That will be soon changing though.

Limited to 4 streams total.
Yes, again currently.

5 tvs? Out of luck. Cut back or mirror them ( is that an option?)
Multiple sets can watch the same channel and not deduct from total feeds, so mirro.

Industry wide you have to answer that call.
ATT hasnt.
What are you talking about? They are taking steps for the future. You're living in a dream world if you think they aren't.

I can see what the products are and what they offer in comparison.
But you actually don't look at it in a realistic perspective. You're looking at it from the wrong end. Nobody on this site is the average joe.

I'm done going round and round with you on this. You have your opinion and I have mine.

Agreed.
You believe it isnt a roll out of one of the most limiting products and services to date, and Ill believe the opposite.

To launch a product with the caveat that all things are changing and being made to actually work like it should is pretty crappy. I havent had anyone disagree with my sentiment save you.
To say "they are taking steps for the future" when it took them 5 years to get this ball rolling is hilarity personafied. because really the future should be now. 5 years ago U-Verse would be BLOWING MINDS. Unfortunately its not 5 years ago.
