More on the Windows servers than unix/linux |

| reply to d0nni3q I don't have the image anymore, but I had an XP laptop with 120 days of uptime before I installed the updates I have been missing for months. I can usually get at least a few weeks to a month on either XP or Vista before a security update or software install requires a reboot. |

I had over a year uptime on my server, I think around 381 days or so. I felt really bad about shutting it down to do some hardware upgrades to it
Atleast it came up without a hitch. |

My Baby:
7:24AM up 4 days, 22:14, 1 user, load averages: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00 Going down at the end of the month for sched. maintenance

That's about it for my big iron, I don't have a UPS or anything, so I can't really get good uptimes on my home systems |

On the network side:

Take my word, this box is starting to fall apart and I'm just hoping we have it under contract with Cisco. But yeah, no restart since 1997: |
