| Seimens 567 - interrupts SSH sessions
Just installed this modem and it is killing my SSH putty sessions to my linux server - timeout after 5 minutes. sshd is configured to keep alive and and has a a client alive interval and count max setting - No trouble with previous modem - this one is killing the session - even with firewall turned off. Does anyone know which setting is responsible for this?
Thx |

| Hey,
I Just got one of those seimens as well. They're absolute garbage. They ( by default ) can't be put into bridging mode.
I would strongly suggest you call sales and get a speedtouch, unless you have some very, very good reasons for keeping the seimens. |

@telus.net | reply to Mr Big OK thanks I was hoping to avoid talking to their sales staff again - but perhaps a change of modem is the best remedy.

@telus.net | No no torrents - a single putty ssh sesson will disconnect after ~5 minutes if idle. |
